Downloading the Substack app can be a great decision if you truly want to support my newsletters and you regularly engage with and enjoy short form writing.
Better Reading Experience
I write short forms on my Substack which discusses topics of fitness, mental health, food, personal experiences and whatever I feel can be educational and informative, hence why it’s called Chanel’s Corner.
My newsletters are more reader- friendly in the app because you are already at the source of where the original writing was posted. Similar to having any app, its easier to explore with the app instead of always checking your emails or seeing in a different layout in Safari.
Real- Time Notifications
I need all of my supporters to receive instant alerts when your favorite writer, ME, publishes something new. I do understand some people check their emails regularly and end of seeing it, but for those who are interested in what I discussed, it’s a handy feature.
Interactive Community Features
The app provides features that are not always offered in the emails. Features such as commenting, seeing author Notes, engaging directly with others that resonate with the newsletter and having all your favorite motivational writings saved to share with others or read again.
WHO SHOULD DEFINITELY CONSIDER IT:
You follow multiple Substack newsletters regularly.
You enjoy reading long form articles or think pieces on your device.
You want a more interactive and personalized experience than plain emails.
Honestly, I appreciate the support no matter what form you decide to follow me in. I want to share various ways that makes reading my newsletters as simple as possible for each person. If you have the app, leave me a message on topics, personal or general, that you think I should cover next!
